With Java 9 there is a new option being supported, namely {{release}}. This
does not only set the {{source}} and {{target}} version but also sets a correct
bootclasspath (to determine if the correct/available API is being used). For
more details look at http://openjdk.java.net/jeps/247. This obsoletes the
{{animal-sniffer-maven-plugin}}, as JDK9 ships with bootclasspaths for Java 6,
7 and 8.
