I think the points you mention are definitely worthwhile and for sure,
inline with what we have been thinking about.

While it is true that for starters, we are only considering the
starting of the instance it should be not too difficult to implement
the runtime extensions you proposed. In fact, there are some hints at
this in the presentation we gave at adaptto - but nothing very
concrete tbh (but it is on the agenda for sure).

>From my POV, I think we should get the basic system working and in
place first but as soon as we have that, there is no reason I can
think of why we shouldn't be able to provide what you outline below.
That said, feel free to start a discussion about what it should look
like concretely - I for one would be willing to help implementing it.
