Hi all,

this is my first mail to the list. I just started at Adobe in October and
will be working on the AEM platform.

Before I worked at Talend for more than 6 years as Open Source Architect
and was mainly active in the projects Karaf, Aries, CXF and Camel.

So currently I am making myself familiar with the sling project. My first
approach was of course to check it out and build.

By following the list before I was already prepared that a full build might
not be so easy :-)

I am now trying to get the build working and already submitted a first PR
with a really small fix.
Currently the build works until the Scripting HTL Integration Tests. There
I get a failure at one of the performance tests "test3SlyJavaPojoRepo". The
expected performance measurement is 2 an I get between 2.0.2 and 2.2 on a
new macbook pro. I wonder if those tests are set up a bit too strict. Would
it make sense to set the max value to at least 2.5 for that test?
I guess other people with older machine will have even bigger problems
passing this test. Another option would be to turn off the test by default
and only run it regularly on the jenkins system.

Best
Christian
