[~chetanm] We definitely should fix the metatype bug before a release. I think
the best option is to move to the new annotations, it seems you were looking at
an old official Component annotation. The one from R6 (version 1.3) has a
references attribute. I think the other option is to use the latest maven scr
plugin which generates correct metatype info, however that one doesn't work on
windows.
