Since the discussion around the servlet annotations in https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SLING-7624 <https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SLING-7624> settled a bit I would like to do a first release soon. Please raise your voice now if you have any concerns with the annotations how they are currently structured (https://github.com/apache/sling-org-apache-sling-servlets-annotations <https://github.com/apache/sling-org-apache-sling-servlets-annotations>). I plan on starting the release vote next week, in parallel I will also extend the documentation at https://sling.apache.org/documentation/the-sling-engine/servlets.html <https://sling.apache.org/documentation/the-sling-engine/servlets.html> to document the new annotations and also give some hints on how to migrate from SCR annotations.
