During the hackathon organised on September 13th, some of the present Sling
committers mentioned that the Contributing webpage should be enhanced to
provide more useful information [0].
The page should facilitate contributions from new users, irrespective if
they're developers or not. As such, the content of the page should guide the
contributors on what steps are needed to send patches that have a high rate of
acceptance without too much back and forth between the contributors and the
already established committers.
