First all all - thanks Andy for your persistence. This is taking quite a long time, but I am sure that in the end we'll get to the best solution. > > I'm sorry if I missed a discussion about this name change (can't see > it in this list's archives) but I'm not sure if "quickstart" is a > good > component name. > > The Adobe product based on Sling has been using "quickstart" as the > name of its startup jar for ages (*). Quickstart is indeed perfectly suited for my (admittedly biased) mind. Launchpad was nice as well, but that's what we get for burning through implementations :-) I see some confusion potential where people would be applying AEM quickstart knowledge to the Sling quickstart and vice-versa. I think your list is a good start, adding some potential options as well: quicklaunch, trebuchet, runway, blastoff, takeoff, liftoff, kickoff, spawn, fling.
