After moving the tool to its own repository, we need an official
release in an ASF, as per [2]. As we have not done a Node.js release, I
suspect there will be a little back and forth to make sure the
artifacts are compliant with the ASF release policy.

Would you have the time to drive this first release? I am happy to
assist with performing the actual release steps, but don't have the
time right now to look into the details.
