+1 Note that I was a bit optimistic about which diagram engines work out of the box in a Maven build, IIUC that's just ditaa and PlantUML - which already go a long way however. Maybe some other engines can be added just with Maven dependencies, but I tried many of them and they were looking for the corresponding binaries in the PATH. -Bertrand
