[~kwin], I definitely agree! Indeed, generics can't easily be used, but this is
how I see defining the adaptions. We shouldn't be defining "internal" property
names all over the place, we should indeed be using a dedicated annotation for
this.
I'd be willing to make this work with the ComponentPropertyType and make a PR
for it. Unless someone else has this ready to go in a matter of minutes.
