Hello all, We successfully released the Apache Solr Operator docker image for the first time around a month ago. Along the way, we also released 3 release candidate docker images to make smoke testing as easy as possible for everyone. Now that the official image is out and anyone "relying" on the release candidate image has had ample time to move to the official release, are there any objections to purging the RC images from docker hub?
They have either bugs, incorrect licensing information or other problems. In my opinion it would be best to remove them after a reasonable amount of time. Maybe a week or so after the official release. Link to all tags: https://hub.docker.com/r/apache/solr-operator/tags?page=1&ordering=last_updated I will take the answer to this thread as a standard going forward for future Solr Operator releases. No need to ask the same question every time. - Houston
