I did minimal changes for now, so I make it less intrusive. But I can be a bit more verbose: for example I would mention that the alias would better be created beforehand, then only changed once reindexing is done so the app doesn't have to do anything about it. Maybe a mention of removeSource=false would be good in this context as well?
