Hi Michael, Noble and I are looking into a potential regression with 9.1 release. Detailed commentary here: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SOLR-16525?focusedCommentId=17676890&page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel#comment-17676890 TLDR; queries (faceting) were failing with http status 503.
At this point in time, we don't know much more due to inadequate information from the logs. Please give us a couple of days to settle this one way or the other, so that if we identify the problem (if at all there is one), we can fix it in a 9.1.1 RC2.
