Thanks for getting this to my attention. I have created https://github.com/apache/solr/pull/3261 for temporarily disabling the new UI module via gradle properties. This can be used for other operating systems if s390x is not the only one, and also for the builds where alternative JDKs are used. Who is able to modify the properties to enable this flag for the problematic builds?
I was not aware of these kinds of builds before. This OS is also new to me. Hope this workaround gets stuff up and running again.
