Hi,

I opened a PR, in Lucene we fixed this already. Basically when we start tests we apply a SecurityManager. This is no longer possible with Java 24 (released last week) or later. This makes Jenkins fail.

This PR does not deal with Solr startup scripts, but as far as I remember there's a solution already. Maybe somebody can comment on that. I will merge that PR soon, because this would silence Policeman Jenkins (which now has phantastic speed and support for macos and windows builds), see other mail.
