Welcome Gaurav, Hopefully you managed to get a JIRA account? That would enable you to ask questions directly on https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SOLR-17399 which would be more noticed by "Watchers" to that issue, such as Sanjay. I commented there that it appears the issue might already be resolved.
For people new to the project, our website has a "Contributing" section which quickly links you over to https://github.com/apache/solr/blob/main/CONTRIBUTING.md I looked there hoping to notice a link to "newdev" tagged JIRA issues but no. Here they are: https://issues.apache.org/jira/issues/?filter=12354099 On Fri, Dec 12, 2025 at 4:52 AM Gaurav <[email protected]> wrote: > Hi Solr devs, > > I’d like to work on SOLR-17399 (Replace the use of the deprecated > java.util.Locale constructor with Locale.Builder API).
