It’s not towards the end but much earlier. There was a placeholder page in
confluence that was created at the start of the process. Having said that,
we’ve generally not spent as much time in the release announcement.

While I respect everyone’s recommendations, I plan to wrap the release as
soon as I am able to find the time later today. The artifacts have already
been pushed out and I need to wrap up the website updates etc.

There is a mention of the release UI, the index upgrade improvements, etc.
already and we shouldn’t stall the release for the announcement.
