I'm not against it. My only concern is that the list of outstanding issues for 
10x is still very long, and as we all know when the release process starts 
rolling there's a sudden flurry of activity to include this or that fix / new 
feature, and the preparation for release may drag on for months.

I think that given the serious nature of the bug in SOLR-18414 / 18156 and the 
CrossDC bugs we should aim for something very much sooner than that, that's why 
I proposed 10.0.1.

Although the difference in failed tests between 10.0.0 and 10x (55 vs 2) 
reported in SOLR-18414 suggests 10x is already in much better shape than with 
the fix in SOLR-18156. So if we can agree on just starting the process with 
whatever is already there (plus/minus a few tickets in flight) then sure, why 
not, we can do 10.1.
