We have our first dependency bringing in Jackson 3 libs: https://github.com/apache/solr/pull/4850
Fortunately it’s only used by the tests for the jwt-auth moduleh to let jwt-auth's tests compile/run against mock-oauth2-server v6. Before I merge, I just wanted to make sure this doesn’t bring up some sort of major heartburn. It’s only used by one module for tests. I was curious, and while Jersey 4.x has adopted Jackson 3 support, it isn’t in any release yet, and that is our biggest single use of Jackson 2 is for our Jersey based API. So there isn’t any major pressure to move to Jackson 3 yet. Disclaimer The information contained in this communication from the sender is confidential.
