Subject: Re: [review] pick a project logo

what Christian sent to me earlier today:

I am following the discussion on the bug tracker page and I would like
to comment that the logo on a non-white background would be a problem
anyway since the arrow bleeds outside. Maybe less of a problem with the
integrated version but I don't think it would solve it.

>From my experience, I would suggest that people choose the logo not on
such a practicality but on design because adjustement would need to be
made anyway for a non-white background. Plus, it is much easier to
change the font color than to find a solutio to the bleeding arrow problem.

Let me know if you guys would like another iteration with only 2 or 3 logos.

what I just sent to Christian:

Collected comments:

top 5 from each person:

Daniel: 4.4i, 4.4j, 4.3h-2,5,7
Duncan: 4.3h-7,5,2, 4.3h, 4.3h-6
Justin: 4.4h, 4.4l (4.4i?), 4.3h-4 (not red), 4.3h-3 (not envelope
        colors), 4.4j
Sidney: 4.4i, 4.4j, 4.3h
Michael: integrated
Theo: everything from 4.3h-7, but the background rectangle color of 4.3h-4

I think we have rough consensus on:

basic envelope colors: green, green or blue, and orangish red (spam)
                        favorites: 4.3h-7, 4.3h-5, 4.3h-2

background: I think we'd like to compare (1) a darker gray than 4.4i/4.4j
(integrated), (2) current orange (not integrated), or (3) a
lighter and cooler orange (maybe integrated)

Could you give us a 2x3 (6 option) matrix for the above?

green vs. blue for second envelope
dark gray integrated vs. orange non-integrated vs. lighter orange integrated

Daniel
