Pounded out the correct RegExp to use:
I placed this (6 lines) before the test for Exim:
if (/\[XMail [^\]]+ ESMTP Server\]/) {
if (/^from (\S+) (?:\((${IP_ADDRESS})[^\)]*\) )?by (\S+) (?:\([^\)]*\) )?
with \[XMail [^\]]+ ESMTP Server\] id <([^>]+)> for(?: <[^>]*> | )from (<[^>]
*>)?;/) {
$helo = $1; $ip = $2; $by = $3; $id = $4; $envfrom = $5;
goto enough;
}
}
Works for all versions and header types of XMail.
Current SA-3.0.0 gets the $id correct, but misses/messes up on all the rest.
So I suppose I could've left out the capture of the ID, but since I am reading
before and after it anyhow... might as well grab it.
Thanks guys for the hard work. I hope my little contribution is of help.
