OK, will try this. I've already tried removing custom rule sets in 
/etc/mail/spamassassin, and the ones I had in my local.cf, to no avail.

It does, bearing in mind that there are a few headers being added by exim when 
the mails come back in, it looks like the line number is actually the end of 
the file.
