Summary: SpamAssassin does not put a header if no header to start with Product: Spamassassin Version: 3.0.0 Platform: All OS/Version: All Status: NEW Severity: major Priority: P5 Component: spamassassin AssignedTo: dev@spamassassin.apache.org ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mail is coming through marked by SA fine. But, one message which was marked as spam on the X- Spam-Status header line had no subject and as a result did not get the subject line rewritten. Sample below. Of note is that the emails before and after it are getting their subject lines properly rewritten and I am using the new subject rewrite command in my spamassassin user_prefs. -Walter From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Date: October 4, 2004 1:23:19 PM EDT Return-Path: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Envelope-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Delivery-Date: Mon, 04 Oct 2004 12:23:20 -0500 Received: from bl by host23.root-name-server.net with local-bsmtp (Exim 4.42) id 1CEWYP-00032r-D6 for [EMAIL PROTECTED]; Mon, 04 Oct 2004 12:23:19 -0500 Received: from [195.15.131.217] (helo=67.18.107.164) by host23.root-name-server.net with smtp (Exim 4.42) id 1CEWYL-0002uW-2s for [EMAIL PROTECTED]; Mon, 04 Oct 2004 12:23:16 -0500 Received: from 68.116.171.74 by web258.mail.yahoo.com; Mon, 04 Oct 2004 13:15:03 -0500 Message-Id: <U[20 X-Spam-Level: ******* X-Spam-Status: Yes, score=8.0 required=1.0 tests=BAYES_80,INVALID_MSGID, MISSING_HEADERS,MISSING_SUBJECT,RCVD_HELO_IP_MISMATCH, RCVD_NUMERIC_HELO autolearn=no version=3.0.0 X-Spam-Checker-Version: SpamAssassin 3.0.0 (2004-09-13) on host23.root-name-server.net X-Spam-Report: * 1.2 RCVD_NUMERIC_HELO Received: contains an IP address used for HELO * 0.1 MISSING_HEADERS Missing To: header * 2.2 RCVD_HELO_IP_MISMATCH Received: HELO and IP do not match, but should * 2.1 BAYES_80 BODY: Bayesian spam probability is 80 to 95% * [score: 0.8259] * 1.2 MISSING_SUBJECT Missing Subject: header * 1.1 INVALID_MSGID Message-Id is not valid, according to RFC 2822 X-Spam-Flag: YES ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee.
