About once a day I see in my logs something like:
Oct 19 23:47:20 zeus spamd[5442]: server hit by SIGCHLD
Oct 19 23:47:20 zeus spamd[5442]: handled cleanup of child pid 18163
Oct 19 23:47:20 zeus spamd[5442]: server successfully spawned child process, pid
16115
This happens about 20 times in rapid succession (presumably after scanning 20
consecutive messages). It's noteworthy that we are running with 20 children.
Then everything is fine (no log messages) for hours or even days.
The behavior started after upgrading to 3.0.0. No bad side effects that I've
seen. Looks like the children die/get killed AFTER completing their scan of a
message. But I figured it was worth reporting, since others will probably
wonder what's happening also.
