You need at most two sockets for arbitrarily many DNS queries, one UDP and
one TCP. You just bang all the queries out on the same socket; with UDP
the replies come back in whatever order and you associate them with their
queries using the serial number in the DNS packet payload. You only use
the TCP socket if you have to deal with a truncated response.
