It's definitely useful for throwaway domains, though not without problems. I don't think these will cause significant difficulties for SpamAssassin. Sometimes name servers hosting legit domains get onto the SBL (uk.uu.net is a particular offender). [SA's scoring system will deal with this.] Sometimes the nameserver search is stalled by crap nameserver implementations, e.g. the HELO domains used by ebay.
