Summary: spammassassin --lint gives perl errors not a proper
userlan error
Product: Spamassassin
Version: 3.0.1
Platform: Other
OS/Version: other
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P5
Component: spamassassin
AssignedTo: [email protected]
ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
If you get a syntax error in any of the rules files, you will get a perl runtime
error in some library not a proper user-land error message when doing a
spamassassin --lint.
Seen this on two systems now, one where adding a new RBL but using SA 2.64
syntax and one where a value was missing at the end of the line..
SA 2.6x handles this much better, giving an actual usable error.
