------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2005-01-25 19:46 ------- ok, I think I have it. they are definitely two different issues. Alexander -- your one is due to /dev/console somehow being given permissions that do not give the spamd child perms to write to it. syslog() tries to write to it, fails, and exits. I think Helge -- your bug is different, and I think it's a platform signal handling issue -- SIGPIPE has been reset to SIG_DFL, whereas it should be generally set to SIG_IGN. the following patch is better at ensuring SIGPIPE is set correctly throughout the spamd's lifetime; could you try with that and see if it helps? ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee.
