------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2005-03-10 09:14 -------
The SMTP AUTH patch for qmail [1] recently added RFC 3848 support. The received
header looks now like this:

Received: (qmail 25253 invoked by uid 90); 10 Mar 2005 16:48:49 -0000
Received: from unknown (HELO ?192.168.1.20?) ([EMAIL PROTECTED]@80.184.166.249)
  by 0 with ESMTPA; 10 Mar 2005 16:48:49 -0000

Because of the semicolon after ESMTPA the regexp doesn't match, but if I correct
the regexp the mail doesn't get detected as smtp auth either. That is because of
$inferred_as_trusted gets set in Received.pm (beginning line 159) (don't know
why exactly).

I now avoid these checks by setting a value for trusted_networks, but that's
merely a workaround.
