Closing as WORKSFORME, I think this is better now, but without steps to
reproduce, I can't know that I fixed your issue. I did make a bunch
of improvements to the error checking code, though, so thanks.
If you're able to reproduce this using SVN HEAD or 3.1.0 when it is
released, please open a new bug, thanks!
