updated 3.0 patch
Here's an updated patch for 3.0.
It's clear (by the commented out code excluding email domain lookups) that
somebody purposely enabled tests for email address domains, and I still don't
really see the difference between the collateral damage caused by:

and

[EMAIL PROTECTED]
...so I'm still +0. Get three +1 votes before the release is rolled and feel
free to apply it... I probably won't be around mid-week to do it.
