Summary: Problem with Socket.pm in spamd
Product: Spamassassin
Version: 3.0.4
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P5
Component: spamc/spamd
AssignedTo: [email protected]
ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
We have many of these entries in /var/log/mail:
Oct 20 11:49:51 scanner01 spamd[19498]: error: Bad arg length for Socket::
unpack_sockaddr_in, length is 0, should be 16 at /usr/lib/perl5/5.8.6/i686-
linux/Socket.pm line 370._ , continuing
Oct 20 11:49:57 scanner01 spamd[19498]: Use of uninitialized value in
subroutine
entry at /usr/lib/perl5/5.8.6/i686-linux/Socket.pm line 370.
I think the error comes when KeepAlived (that we use for our cluster) sends a
"fake" Query to SpamAssassin to check if it's alive.
Spamd seems to work anyway, but since since many people use clusters nowadays,
maybe this is really a bug!
