I think it's quite clear that the intention of the original rule author was to
look for "H.G.H." literally, not H followed by any character followed by G
followed by any character followed by H followed by any character.
Fixing this also removes the need for a workaround for the Japanese special
case, and thus the wrapper meta rule.
