Microsoft still has a download for OE for the Mac at version 5.0. It does run on Classic macs only, but Mac OS X does run Clssic programs. In 10.4 you have to install Classic support from the OS CD, but it is there. There is no reason I could think of for someone with a modern Mac running Mac OS X to run OE for Mac instead of several email programs that run native on that OS. I have OE 5.0 on an iMac, but I didn't get it configured properly to send mail through my outbound server when I had time to try it, and it might be a few days before I can get back to it.
