First off, thanks for the quick reply on the bug.
The files do get partially written (and that is what is meant by corrupt).
I'm still unsure of how this happens, but at times this causes some kind of race
condition with the spamd deamon. The daemon spins out of control at 100% CPU
and has to be killed and restarted on each system. I traced the problem down to
the bayes token file right before it was being written to. Most of the accounts
that I run have quotas enables as well. I did notice that spamassassin.pm
already includes the Quota.pm module so I didn't think that this was adding any
new requirements.
You are right about the solution only working with quota users and not with disk
full problems. I'll go ahead and change the bug to WORKSFORME and see if I can
come up with a better solution.
