I think 1 "oops" in about 8 releases is not a bad run... these things happen, and too many processes to avoid them is hard to deal with in itself. Having said that, more dogfooding should have caught that; the same code was checked into trunk. If it had been there for longer before the release, I might have svn updated my server and run into it, but I didn't. If other people were similarly dogfooding trunk, they might have too. Maybe I'm the only one crazy enough to do it though ;) --j.
