------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2006-12-13 03:54 -------
I am using spamassassin 3.0.7, and one of the user has the settings:

user preference value
n2 required_score -18
n2 rewrite_header Subject +n2+

Now I am sending mails to that user. I reference only the subject header:

sent: received: comment:
tralal bez + +n2+ tralal bez + OK
+n2+ tralal bez + +n2+ tralal bez + OK
mm: +n2+ tralal bez + +n2+ mm: +n2+ tralal bez + wrong
Re: +n2+ hm, let us see +n2+ Re: +n2+ hm, let us see wrong

The last two samples shall have been unchanged, since the rewrite_header word is
contained already in the header. So the point is, that it checks if the prefix
is prefix, but I want a check if a prefix is contained somewhere in the subject
(cause replying such mail causes very long subjects on the recepients' side)
