Does removing forwarding works? checking - yes it works I suppose that when I set up the local dns I kept my previous resolv.conf entries as forwarders to avoid hitting other DNSes. Or to make filtering easier. Whatever the reasons having a working sa trumps them so I'll remove forwarding for now. Thank you for the help!
