Here's a heads-up.

Jeff Garzik has come up with a better way of distributing up-to-date
IP geolocation information through DNS block lists. Information is
available here:

 http://www.netop.org/geoip.html

I've released a perl module to CPAN, named IP::Country::DNSBL, which
will query Jeff's server:

 http://search.cpan.org/dist/IP-Country-DNSBL/

The module has the same interface as IP::Country::Fast, which is
already used by spamassassin. Jeff's site is currently in public beta,
but I think this method will eventually provide better information
than IP::Country::Fast, as it neither relies on the user updating
their country-code database, nor does it rely on me providing timely
updates to the database ;)

Seasons greetings from sunny Qatar.
