http://issues.apache.org/SpamAssassin/show_bug.cgi?id=5526

           Summary: spamd process name changes
           Product: Spamassassin
           Version: 3.2.1
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P5
         Component: spamc/spamd
        AssignedTo: [email protected]
        ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

When spamd is started, the process name is set to "spamd". When spamd catches
the HUP signal, the process name gets changed to "perlx.y.z" where x.y.z is the
perl version number.

This behavior seems to have started with the 3.2.x branch as I never noticed it
with earlier version.

This breaks net-snmpd process monitoring (among possibly other things).

Starting spamd with:
/usr/bin/spamd -d -s local2 -r /var/run/spamd.pid --socketpath
/var/spamassassin/spamd -m 10
Linux kernel versions 2.4.x and 2.6.x
