On FC4 also there is this problem.

perl-5.8.6-24
[EMAIL PROTECTED] log]# rpm -q spamassassin
spamassassin-3.2.1-1
Now I have use this workaround:

1) Locate your Message.pm module and
2) after "use warnings;" add "use bytes;"
