Summary: Extend SA with a "last rule" flag
Product: Spamassassin
Version: 3.2.1
Platform: Other
OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: enhancement
Priority: P5
Component: Rules
AssignedTo: [email protected]

A lot of users are building their own SA rules, e.g. with "rules of the day".
Most customers do rely on their respective spam and assign high scores to their
rules. E.g. they receive "stock exchange spam", create their own rule, assign a
high score in order to get this type of messages recognized in any case. We do
this, too.
It would be great if there was a special flag for rules to mark this rule as
"final" or "last" rule. So SA could stop further scoring because the user says
"For me, this rule - if it matches - is enough to say it's spam". This
"last"/"final" rule flag should only match if the rule itself matches.
Such a flag could help reduce system load.
Probably it would also be great to have such a flag depending on the current
score that has already been reached during the scoring process. E.g. one could
set an option "If you have already reached the user-spam-score, do not do
further processing".
