It appears there are patches to the FreeBSD package of SpamAssassin that I'm not familiar with:
http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/cvsweb.cgi/ports/mail/p5-Mail-SpamAssassin/files/patch-sa-learn.raw In particular there's a "-q" (quiet) switch added to sa-learn. IMO, it's a spectacularly bad idea to add new options that aren't available on other platforms -- practically guaranteed to create portability bugs. Anyone know why they haven't submitted the patch upstream? Or have they, and I just can't find it? --j.
