I've been seeing this issue quite a lot too for the past few days. And yes, 
the problem is broken incoming messages.

But it still seems like a bug in spamassissin to assume dates will be valid 
and to throw perl errors rather than checking if a date is valid before using 
functions that require a date to be valid.

Note that the first even has a date of 34 May...
