SA 3.2.4 here, same problem, disabled Bayes check, but problem with maximum
number of spamd processes and 100% CPU load on those persists. Hanging spamd
processes are showing with 'Running' status in top, last log line of those pids
are always:
Jun 4 03:35:33 mailhost spamd[23709]: spamd: checking message (unknown) for
nobody:102
That unknown instead of a message id is strange, but the same system was
running for some months without any hangs. Strace on those processes gives no
output at all, parent process and still working spamd childs do.
Any way to get more info what is happening at checking time with those childs?
