Summary: 20_ratware.cf: __OE_MUA and __VISTA_MSGID
Product: Spamassassin
Version: SVN Trunk (Latest Devel Version)
Platform: All
OS/Version: All
Status: NEW
Severity: minor
Priority: P5
Component: Rules
AssignedTo: [email protected]
ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Created an attachment (id=4327)

Accept OE6 with Vista MsgId as no forgery
Today I got a genuine email with headers like this:
Message-Id: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
X-Mailer: Microsoft Outlook Express 6.00.2900.5512
This matches __OE_MUA, none of __OE_MSGID_[1-3] but instead __VISTA_MSGID.
It is thus classified __FORGED_OE and hence FORGED_MUA_OUTLOOK
Looks like it is possivle to install OE6 on a system generating those
Vista-Style MSGIDs, though I haven't queried the sender about his actual setup.
I attached a patch to make the VISTA_MSGID valid for older OE versions.
