Hello,

I have a straightforward Amavisd installation running on a mail server with
Perl 5.8.8 and SpamAssassin 3.2.5 and I'm running into the following
intermittent error from SpamAssassin (as reported in the mail log by amavisd):

"SA failed: Modification of a read-only value attempted at
/usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.8/Mail/SpamAssassin/Util.pm line 852, <GEN15> line
1886. at (eval 103) line 420, <GEN15> line 1886."

My OS is Fedora Core 7.

This causes spam filtering to fail, allowing spam messages to get through the
content filter.

I have examined the Perl code and it appears to be happening in the
parse_content_type subroutine.

I'm not sure what is causing this but I thought you should know.

Thanks,
Ian
