Summary: Site wide Bayes causes "Insecure dependency in umask"
errors
Product: Spamassassin
Version: SVN Trunk (Latest Devel Version)
Platform: Other
OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: major
Priority: P5
Component: spamassassin
AssignedTo: [email protected]
ReportedBy: [email protected]
I'm running spamassassin-3.3.0-0.20.svn882672.fc13.x86_64 and
perl-5.10.0-87.fc12.x86_64 on Fedora 12. Enabling the bayes plugin causes
errors like this:
(spamassassin --lint)
warn: (Insecure dependency in umask while running with -T switch at
/usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.10.0/Mail/SpamAssassin/BayesStore/DBM.pm line
1117.
(errors in maillog)
(Insecure dependency in umask while running setuid at
/usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.10.0/Mail/SpamAssassin/BayesStore/DBM.pm line
1113, <GEN150> line 60.
This also effects sa-learn, or anything that interacts with the bayes db.
I'm running site wide bayes, and thus have this in local.cf:
auto_whitelist_file_mode 0777
bayes_file_mode 0777
Prior to my upgrade to Fedora 12 tonight, everything was fine.
I figured this was more of an SA issue than a Fedora issue...
