It was a bug in my proposed solution to push a header field into
the configuration. With each call (e.g. in spamd or amavisd), another
equivalent of 'add_header' was done, so they all accumulated during a
lifetime of a process.

I have now updated the ClamAVPlugin wiki page (URL above), so that the
plugin uses the official/public interface with SpamAssassin (see comment 5),
namely: the plugin stores its result in a tag CLAMAVRESULT, which can then
be inserted into a mail header section by a configuration directive like:
  add_header all Virus _CLAMAVRESULT_

Please try it out.
