Would anyone object to an unofficial "rc2" cut perhaps today,
immediately after these final two P1 bugs are committed? I want to put
something closer to final into production to be more certain that we
haven't broken anything prior to the January 15th deadline.
I want to make the cut, put the tarball in my directory, but announcing
would be pointless given it would land immediately before the final cut.
January 15th we can cut 3.3.0 final, call it 3.3.0-proposed1 and call
for votes. Upon voted approval, rename it to 3.3.0. How does this sound?
